Definition

It refers to a physical process of dealing with the metal work piece through vibration power strictly controlled, with a view to solving the problem of instability of dimension and anti-overloading capacity caused by the internal residual stress both during and after processing the work piece. Vibratory stress relief is especially effective to relieve, reduce or homogenize the residual stress within the metal work piece, to improve dynamic and static anti-overloading and distortion-proof capacity of the work piece, and to make sure the dimension and scale accurate.
